We used to have a series of guinea pigs, who always seemed to live well but (aside from the last one) died young. Now we have a rather troublesome patterdale terrier, who is technically my sister's.

Well we have got 2 dogs (a Jack Russell and a Whippet), 1 cat, 3 gerbils and a variety of fish

He actually has a tendency to slip off, often just in the area but over easter he was found after a couple of days having been picked up in a town over 10 miles away.

I remember..you got the name Bertie from a poll from KSF..but anyway i have a dog and the funny idea is i have no idea what type is and i can tell what type of dogs people have every day..

And yes, I remember the poll really well, I think all the options were 'Thomas Names' and I innitally wanted to call him Skarloey, but to get a dog to learn a name like that would be pretty tricky Tounge Out

Ours is called 'otter', however as a protest at the fact that my name idea was rejected I have always called him 'shadow'.

Our cat has to have her tail amputated on Wednesday.
She has a 'benine' lump on the base of it, but the problem is it was ulcerated and it won't heal, and it keeps bleeding.... So they recommend that she has it amputated.
She's coming on 13 years old now, but the Vet said she should be fine, so...

Hey everyone
She just had the operation done today (it was posponed till today incase of any little hope that it might improve) and she's fine now, still a bit drugged up and groggy, but she's good... She also had to have 1 tooth out, but the remaining teeth she had whitened Tounge Out

Anyway, she's all good, so yeah Excited/Very Happy

Fifi (one of my 3 gerbils) died on Tuesday.... :cry:
She was 3 years and 8 months old tho
