oh yes. Sometimes anyway. the one-liners were him having a laugh but when he put his foot in it he was indeed. Sir Alan revealed on the 'you're hired' companion show to the final ('you're fired' being the companion for the rest of the series) that the 'I'm sitting here having to look at you and I don't mean that disrespectfully' bit is probably his wife's favourite bit and I couldn't help laughing properly when I saw it in the clip. One of the funniest guys ever to appear. One of the last tasks was selling on a tv shopping channel and in the boardroom sir alan read an e-mail from a viewer thanking the station for their new comedy hour. in his CV he claimed he could bring ignorance to the table (a good sort apparantly) and had Hannibal from the A-team as a role model. Each candidate has a little highlight reel shown when they leave and you could have a whole programme of his.
