Never been any good, at that or pool, I remember I would celebrate if I managed to non-foul shots in a row.

And I used to be really good, I belonged to a club and had regular lessons every week

It is a sport, sport involves both skill and nerves, that makes is a sport (same with darts and others derided for not being sports)

I'm useless at stuff like this XD Billiards, pool, snooker - I'm just rubbish at all of them! Although, I've never played for a club and only ever play when my friends invite me XD

In pool I even managed to do a 'banana' shot once, shame that was just the cue ball, not any of the ones I actually wanted in the pocket. I'm that bad.

sounds like me at tennis. I've only played a couple of times recently. I tend to miss every normal shot (and have to serve underarm) but I did pull off a few last ditch saves, scooping the ball just before it hit the ground. so I know what that's like.
