They are incredibly overrated but not a bad read nonetheless, if you're in to that sort of thing.

I read the first 4 books in year 3 & 4 and i loved them then.
I dont know what all the Hype is about.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the series and was one of the mad, scrambling, bloodthirsty fools that went out and bought the last book on the day it came out, but I have read better books, that's for certain!

I was addicted to them :s I bought the 6th en 7th book at midnight! I was a real freak. Read them in 3 languages (Dutch, English and French)
Definitely one of the best books ever!

I was obssessed, but unlike some people, I've only ever read each book once (I don't see the point in reading it any more times than that)

And I don't think age really matters so much, yes you can out-grow it, but I know quite a few adults who read it (including my mum) Tounge Out
