Halloween Skin Idea

As you probably read in the Halloween thread Max wants to make a Halloween skin for the forum so if you have any ideas post them here.

well, these colours seem dark enough so I doubt they need much changing.

I think the dark red will be changed to orange for the 'pumpkin-ish' feel, I think black and orange would be the most suitable colours.

This thread's lost a heck of a lotta posts, there were about 20, if not more last time, but repost any ideas you had!

everyone was insisting on a pumpkin background, I wanted more variety in the haloween themed images. you pointed out you could only have 1 as a backgroud, and I asked about having an image with as many as possible.

What do you reckon we should do for the main logo?
I think I'll use the 'black metal' font in it for sure, but what about the image?

Well when does everyone think the skin should actually go up?
A week before, 2 weeks before, the start of October?

Wow..thats a first, but in a week does sound good.

any earlier would be a bit like the early display of christmas stuff in the shops.

Yep, probably pumpkins as apposed to yellow circles

They're easier to have faces on I guess

All the icons in the bar at the top ("Forum", "FAQ", "Search" etc. etc.) will have a cobweb pattern to them, that'll be another feature. Also, the icons down the side of the boards which state whether there are new posts or not will have skulls instead

I do rather love the halloween emoticons
