Song Of The Week

I sent the old thread for this to the garbage because it'd become inactive and all the last 3 posts were by me Laughing

Basically, you vote for what you'd like to see as RAM's "Song of the Week"
I'm pretty chuffed right now as I finally managed to get a music player working on the forum! (took a long time)
So I'm going to re-open the voting as the last poll ended in a tie with only 2 users voting, basically pick the song that you'd like to see as Song of the Week and the first 5 suggestions will go into a poll where the descision shall be made. The winning song will feature on RAM for 1 week (obviously) and then the suggestions shall re-open
For now until we have a new winning song 'Waking The Demon - Bullet for my Valentine' which was our first suggestion and tied in the poll will feature as the SOTW unless anyone has any real objections then we shall change it!

Any chance of having the player on 'pause' as default setting and allowing people to play as they wish? As you know I have a window up on RAM all the time, and have a constant urge to refresh even when I'm doing something else and its insanely irritating when I'm watching something on my laptop and briefly refresh only to have the sound from whatever it is drowned out by a blast of music every time I do.

I will try, at the moment the player itself seems invisible which actually is a good thing as there's not some unsightly thing taking up the whole news bar area, but if you wanna pause it, it is a problem, I'll see what I can do!

It's not that. it'll be just as annoying even if it was WT, its the uncontrollable sudden burst of sound that's the problem, thats why I often mute my laptop when loading a myspace page.

Just now in trying to make the music player visible so members can play/pause the song when they want, I inadvertantly cut it all, to the relief of some of you I guess XD
But tomorrow we'll have a new Song of the Week up, so I won't bother trying to get it up again until tomorrow
