I don't know any past 151 except for Gible cos it's cute and I remember it from one of the games.

I want to open up my Dragon and Bug gym. I'm hopefully doing a degree in Pokemon Gym Mastery next year. Hey, you can do a degree in David Beckham, why not Pokemon Gym Mastery.

Anyway on the topic of pokemon I’ve played most of the games and spent quite a while trying to gather as many as I could in Pokemon Pearl.

do they have a good variety from all generations in that game? because there weren't in ruby/sapphire

Yeah a lot more of the older generations of pokemon are obtainable in the game than in ruby and sapphire plus a few of the older pokemon have further evolutions like Electrabuzz and Magmar.
