Anyway, I doubt the americans will miss him but I certainly will, if only for the amusement factor.

It's good if you can laugh at them for trying to be funny, but when they're in charge of the world's richest and perhaps most powerful country and we're laughing at them whilst they're trying to be serious, I do worry a lot... What does it say of the American population though? They're always determined to vote for fools... ¬.¬

At least we've got the excuse that all we've got are fools, that or political schemers. I was watching the news months ago, covering the primaries, and some american political analyst was saying that they made the nomination process so long and arduous because being president was such a difficult job. I actually laughed aloud at that one. what were the other's like??? I dread to think.

Lets just hope the bush girls don't go into politics. After all Bush Sr wasn't that great himself, even though all I've heard from him is that asparagus bit. However I did see he wrote a letter of appreciation to the historian Antony Beevor (who is a femily friend of ours) for one of his books so at least Sr has something going for him.
