It's unfair to people who have worked somewhere their entire lives, then lose their jobs because of this though.... And there are now people out of work who have no money, are having to sell their houses etc..

hmm. taken to extremes the shops would have no money to stock anything and not be able to sustain jobs so no one would have money to spend anyway. and I'm about to enter the working world and this situation only makes it harder. So maybe think about things a little starom before starting the communist flag waving.

Ah, but no! If the money all goes, Communist parties stand a chance as they finally prove to people how flawed the concept of money is. Let's face it - if that money all goes, people are never, ever going to be able to re-coop it. Ever. So, why not start from scratch, with a different approach?

well they already proved to people how flawed the concept of communism (in practice as a government anyway) is so I doubt it.

Yeah, but the flaws of Capitalism are finally showing their strains too... Let's face it - for every flaw in communism, there's an equal, if not larger number in Capitalism!

Ah - I'm not in favour of Stalin style communism you know! If anything, I have a tendancy to, from time to time, lean more towards Anarchist Communism more than anything... Communism doesn't have to be tyrannical...

that is bad. you think anything should have been done to stop the banks being so reckless? with hindsight it seems to be yes but before I'm sure people could have argued that they were doing something that was simply part of running a business and not something that goverments had to keep looking over their shoulder at.
