Bonfire Night

It's in just 2 days, anyone going to a fireworks display or got any other plans?

yep. my friends do a good fireworks party. last year was good so they're doing it this year. hopefully it won't be so packed. its a few days after though.

On a different note, since Halloween has now passed, the skin will be slowly reverting to its original self, starting with a little Bonfire Night adaptation of the original logo, so for everyone who loved the Halloween logo (it proved really popular, and I was even proud of it myself), now's your last chance to wave goodbye to it!

If there's no firework displays on btw, my mum could get some fireworks etc and we could have a mini-RAM meeting/party in my back garden? Casey & Scott will (99% certainly) be able to make it, too :D

My mum got some fireworks today. They were sold out pretty much everywhere but she was looking and looking around and she got loads :D:D:D:D

I have no clue what this thread is about..

In England on the 5th of November, we celebrate Guy Fawkes night (someone who tried to burn down the Houses of Parliament), by getting/making a doll of Guy Fawkes and placing it on top of a bonfire, there are also loads of firework displays going on.

well he actually tried blowing it up.

^ And, if Historians have anything to say on the matter, he was actually a bit of a scapegoat. It would appear that he was a Spanish Catholic that had been brought into the plot by the original plotters just to go and detonate the explosives.

Another theory says that it was all a rather intricate conspiracy. The room beneath the HP had been mysteriously emptied just as the plot was forming and the room was just randomly leased to an unknown buyer, despite the fact that usually only MPs could rent any part of the houses of pariliament. Plus, the amount of gunpowder found is likely to have been military-sourced, due to the sheer vast amount.

Hey, it's Max typing here on Scott's account, we're at Sarah's and we just had an awesome fireworks display, it was really funny the stuff that went on. Casey was also here, and a girl called Lindsey's here who'll hopefully be joining us on RAM soon XD
