I've come up with something that might just possibly leave everyone happy...
It will involve the fun side of things which most of you enjoy, it will be festive-y to tie in with christmas, and it will require at least a bit of intelligence so Henry will be happy...
The RAM Christmas 'Pub' Quiz
Like the idea of it? I'll tell you how it will work etc. after you've posted your initial thoughts on it.

One of us (I initially thought myself, but as Henry no longer wishes to partake in competitions then maybe him) will be the Quizmaster and not take part in the quiz itself. I was thinking of maybe having 3 rounds (General knowledge, music, and christmas), each with about 20 questions. Whoever the quizmaster is will post the questions on here and whoever wants to take part can write down their answers and e-mail them to the quizmaster (so others don't see), then the quizmaster can tally up the scores after the 3 rounds and announce the winner ^^

I suggested that to max weeks ago. just that I was not able to think up of questions. was going to use the arcsoc ones but I was still at home for that.

as you can tell I'm far from impressed from the way the forums turning into a series of games that most people should have grown out of when they were born. or for the fact that my attempts to keep things from going too far are being mocked, not appreciated. someone has to keep a look out while everyone else descends to the intelectual level of a grape. However I do have a massive idea on what else to do. Was just watching a question of sport. so how about a massive RAM pub quiz event?

No I wouldn't. There'd be 3 rounds; General knowledge, Music, and Christmas - If one of them's a weak point for you then that's your problem ^^

There's still a practical issue. pub quizes are done in real life therefore in real time so its all fair without people being able to look things up. How are we going to get round that here? doing in with all of us on (still a bit of a risk) or on msn or what?

I'd join in if you did an MSN based one ^^

You have a point. I'd propose doing it on msn, and having a time limit in which you need to answer, so there's no way of people being able to look the answers up ^^

Are we gonna do this pub quiz then?
If we're to have 3 rounds then we can spread them out over tomorrow, tuesday and christmas eve
