| I've got a lot of them and want to add more occasionally. gone a bit off the rails recently esp Asterix and the falling sky (I mean aliens based on mickey mouse and also an arnie/superman hybrid. wth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) but most are classics. while some aren't as good as others there are few properly poor ones.
Whats not to like? its a child friendly comic style filled with modern-day references and in-jokes for everyone else to enjoy, which is good as rather than just being dumbed down for kids, it assumes that some readers are people who actually know stuff and put things in for them. I wouldn't know half of them if I hadn't looked on the internet. Also great characters that you just grow to love, full of heart but not too bright you can't felp but feel sympathy for some of them. Great recurring cast of villagers and most 'guest' characters are good as well. Asterix the Legionary probably the best for that. Also despite the anti-german feeling with the goths. most non-antagonists are looked upon fairly irrespective of nationality.
Also as a lover of Rome and student of Ancient History (and fan of Julius Caesar) I find it interesting looking at what's relatively accurate and enjoying the things that aren't just as much, especially the 'revisionism'.

| Aliens based on mickey mouse and also an arnie/superman hybrid? That sounds more like a book for quite a young child.
I only have 'Asterix and The Actress', 'Asterix And Obelix All At Sea', Asterix And The Magic Carpet', 'Asterix And Son' and 'Asterix And The Great Divide'.
Know anywhere on the internet I could look for more?
