a star trek enterprise novel called 'kobayashi maru', oh and tacitus' annals of imperial rome.

Witch Child & Misery.

come to think of it I never finished Polybius, or Livy either so I'm technicaly still reading those

uni course, admitedly for module I took 2 years ago. ditto for livy (polybius was last year)

Yeh King bores me slightly as well. I started reading Carrie and didn't pick it up again for months afterwards.
The Shining was also a challenge.

I recently bought "Christine"
although as I didn't get on too well with his other works (great ideas but they just don't work for me on paper) I'm unsure about reading it.
